Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to join our Power Infrastructure team in Australia. You will deliver electrical engineering for MV/HV projects, lead design activities, and collaborate with local teams and Global Delivery Centres to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will contribute to renewable energy connections, traction power, EV infrastructure, substations, protection systems, earthing, and EMC.

Qualifications

• Experience with medium/high voltage power systems.
• Strong understanding of protection systems and substations.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage design activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical engineering services for MV/HV projects.
• Lead and coordinate technical design with project teams and global delivery centres.
• Develop solutions for renewables, traction power, EV infrastructure, and protection systems.
• Manage design packages from concept to construction support.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders and participate in reviews.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to developing engineers.
