GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its Brisbane-based Engineering Team. The role focuses on delivering E&I design across mining projects, collaborating across disciplines, and ensuring on-time, within-budget outcomes.

Brisbane CBD office with some site visits Requirements include a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical), CPEng, 8 years of experience in minerals processing, expertise in SLDs, switchgear, and control systems, plus ETAP

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) with Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status preferred.
• 8 years’ experience in electrical engineering, ideally in minerals processing.
• Experience designing single line diagrams, schematics, terminations, general arrangements, layouts, HV/LV switchgear and cabling.
• Exposure to control systems, instrumentation, and full-cycle commissioning.
• Proficiency with ETAP or similar engineering tools.
• Good understanding of Australian Standards and IEC standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across disciplines and stakeholders.
• Must have full Australian working rights; no sponsorship available.

Aufgaben

• Develop electrical & instrumentation design packages aligned with Australian Standards.
• Design HV, LV, and ELV power distribution, MCCs, substations, and control systems.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver integrated solutions on time and to budget.
• Procure and evaluate electrical equipment packages and contracts.
• Produce high‑quality E&I drawings and documentation with drafting teams.
• Provide project schedule updates and deliverables progress.
• Support on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
