Job summary

Stantec Australia in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Buildings Team on a full-time basis. You will contribute to a range of building projects, applying technical expertise and driving design delivery across early planning through to commissioning.

You will mentor engineers, oversee design work, liaise with authorities and clients, and explore opportunities in business development while delivering high-quality electrical designs, reports, calculations, and drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Approximately 7 years' consulting experience in building services in Queensland.
• Ability to develop client relationships and opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects from master planning, concept brief through installation and commissioning.
• Provide technical oversight and supervision to ensure delivery.
• Mentor engineers and graduates to support performance.
• Represent Stantec to clients and manage client relationships.
• Deliver electrical designs, reports, calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Prepare presentations for external clients.
• Liaise with authorities and contractors.
