Job summary

Aurecon Group in Perth is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer – Buildings to lead the delivery of electrical building services designs across defence, healthcare, data centres, resources and commercial developments. You will shape safe, sustainable solutions and mentor junior engineers.

This role requires strong collaboration with architects, structural, mechanical and ICT teams, and the ability to manage design budgets, client interfaces and project delivery while advancing technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics and Chartered status or progress towards Chartership is highly regarded.
• Approximately 6+ years delivering electrical building services design projects within a consulting, engineering or design environment.
• Experience across defence, healthcare, data centres, commercial developments or similar sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical building services design across projects from concept to construction support.
• Undertake engineering calculations, reviews and assessments to ensure safe, compliant designs.
• Collaborate with architects, structural, mechanical, ICT, hydraulics and sustainability teams.
• Support project delivery including planning, resources and design budgets.
