Job summary

RSGx Engineering seeks an experienced Senior/Principal/Lead Electrical Engineer to deliver electrical building services and infrastructure design for major rail and energy projects across Victoria and NSW. You will lead electrical layout design, equipment accommodation and multi-disciplinary coordination to ensure buildable and compliant solutions.

You will review design documentation, maintain accuracy, and support project teams from concept through delivery in a constrained environment, using

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering.
• Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD and PowerCAD.
• Sound knowledge of Australian electrical standards and AS/NZS 3000.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical building services across power distribution, lighting and standby systems.
• Prepare and review drawings, single-line diagrams, schedules and technical reports.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, mechanical and other disciplines for integrated solutions.
• Conduct site inspections and verify existing conditions to support design development.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and project specifications.
