Job summary

RSGx Engineering is seeking Senior/Principal/Lead Electrical Engineers with a strong background in delivering electrical building services and infrastructure design. Experience in electrical layouts, equipment accommodation, and coordinating multidisciplinary systems on major rail and energy projects is essential.

You will work on electrical building services across power, lighting, essential services, and renewable energy, ensuring designs meet Australian standards and project specs through

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical.
• Experience delivering electrical building services for infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in design software (Revit, AutoCAD and/or PowerCAD).
• Knowledge of Australian electrical standards and AS/NZS 3000.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical building services across power distribution, lighting, essential services, communications, standby power and renewables.
• Prepare and review electrical design documentation (drawings, single-line diagrams, schedules, specs).
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, hydraulic, fire and other disciplines.
• Identify and resolve design, coordination and constructability issues during design and delivery.
• Conduct site inspections to verify conditions and ensure design intent is maintained.
