Job summary
Thiess in the Bowen Basin is seeking an experienced Electrical EEM Superintendent to lead electrical governance and engineering on site. You will oversee the Electrical Engineering Management System (EEMS), ensure safe operation of assets, and provide technical leadership in line with Queensland mining legislation.
The role requires an electrical trade qualification with Queensland Electrical Licence, extensive mining electrical maintenance experience, and proven ability to manage site-based
Qualifications
- Electrical trade qualification with Queensland Electrical Licence.
- Meet statutory EEM requirements in QLD coal mining.
- Extensive mining electrical maintenance and engineering experience.
- Strong governance, risk management and compliance knowledge.
- Proven site-based team leadership experience.
- Experience with maintenance systems (JDE) and budgeting.
- Electrical Engineering degree is highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership, governance and assurance for electrical activities onsite.
- Develop, implement and improve the Electrical Engineering Management System (EEMS).
- Ensure electrical assets and infrastructure are safe, compliant and well managed.
- Lead site-based teams and engage stakeholders to drive performance.
- Oversee budgeting and maintenance planning within the EEM scope.
