Job summary

Electoral Commission of Queensland is seeking a proactive professional to conduct elections for state registered industrial organisations in accordance with the rules and legislation. You will work within a collaborative team to plan, prioritise, and deliver election projects on time, ensuring data accuracy and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct elections for state registered industrial organisations in accordance with the relevant rules and legislation.
• Participate within a team environment in an effective and collaborative manner, establishing and communicating project priorities to meet workload demands and deadlines.
• Be responsible for the planning and delivery of election projects within allocated timeframes to include current data, future planning and strategy.
• Participate in the preparations for and conduct of elections in line with legislative requirements.
• Engage with and develop strong working relationships with major stakeholders including government departments, contracted suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrate skills and ability in the use of computer-based operational systems and office technology.
• Demonstrate well developed levels of oral and written communication skills.
• Contribute to team cohesiveness, wellbeingand capability through participation inestablishinga positive environment, respectful of the views of others across the HR team and broader ECQ workforce.
• Consistently display the ECQ and Queensland Government values, ensuring that these are upheld at all levels of the organisation.
