Job summary

The Electoral Commission of Queensland (ECQ) is seeking an experienced learning and development leader to design and implement the 2028 election workforce training. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Services, you will lead a small team within the HR & Learning and Development unit to deliver a high-profile program supporting Queensland's democratic process.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level qualification in HR, L&D or education with strong project management experience.
Experience designing and delivering learning programs for large, complex organisations.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

Lead training delivery for the 2028 elections as project lead and develop a comprehensive learning program for the election workforce.
Design inclusive, accessible training materials and modules using contemporary design tools and multiple channels.
Drive continuous improvement across capability development and ensure programs meet objectives and inclusive standards.
Manage the election training team to deliver outcomes aligned with project goals.
Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle including planning, delivery, reporting, and governance.
