Job summary

Emanate Technology in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Senior eCommerce Developer / Technical Specialist to take internal technical ownership of an enterprise ecommerce platform and its connected ecosystem, shaping architecture and technical design.

You will design integrations across CRM, marketing automation, CMS, ERP/OMS, and Azure cloud services, and establish governance with delivery partners while advancing platform stewardship.

Qualifications

• Experience across enterprise eCommerce environments.
• Hands-on delivery on major commerce platforms (Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce/Magento, BigCommerce).
• API design and modern integration patterns with architectural input.
• Experience with CI/CD, release controls, and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own internal technical ownership of an enterprise eCommerce platform.
• Collaborate with the Digital Applications Manager to shape solution architecture and technical design.
• Design and implement integrations across CRM, marketing automation, CMS, ERP/OMS, and Azure.
• Establish governance for delivery partners with code reviews and quality gates.
• Build and maintain modern integration patterns using REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven design.
• Own day-to-day release management, Git workflows, environment promotion, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Translate commercial requirements into clean, scalable delivery plans.
