Qualifications

• Qualified Veterinary Nurse with substantial ECC experience.
• Ability to mentor junior nurses and lead in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-standard holistic nursing care to critically ill and injured patients from triage through CARE journey.
• Act as a senior clinical resource during shifts, supporting nursing and veterinary teams.
• Mentor and guide less experienced nurses to build confidence, skills, and clinical judgement.
• Manage day flow to ensure hospital productivity.
• Assist with anaesthesia, advanced procedures, and surgery.
• In-house laboratory testing with access to ultrasound, endoscopy and CT.
• Undertake specific front-desk duties outside of normal reception hours and support clients via telephone.

Senior ECC Veterinary Nurse | CARE, Collingwood

We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Nurse with substantial experience in Emergency and Critical Care nursing - additional qualifications preferred but not essential. You need to be clinically confident, calm under pressure, and capable of leading by example in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you’ll be encouraged to take ownership of patient care, mentor junior nurses, and contribute to clinical decision-making, with ongoing opportunities to continue expanding your own advanced ECC skillset.
