Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Engineer – Earthing and Bonding in Adelaide to lead design, reviews and site delivery across major infrastructure projects. You will manage complex electrical packages, mentor teams and collaborate with clients to ensure successful outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in earthing/bonding, substations and transmission/distribution experience, plus a Chartered Engineer status or active progression toward it. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
Chartered Professional Engineer status or active progress toward it.
5+ years experience in earthing and bonding design and related areas.
Experience with transmission and distribution infrastructure incl. substations, overhead lines, underground cables.
Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver earthing, bonding and related projects from concept through construction and commissioning.
Prepare and review design drawings, technical reports, inspection and test plans, and other deliverables.
Manage design quality of work packages; collaborate with client-side engineers through reviews and updates.
Develop technical resources and mentor colleagues to build capability.
Estimate and prepare tenders and proposals for electrical scopes of work.
Collaborate across GHD offices to pursue and deliver project opportunities.
Perform site inspections and prepare reports for proposals and construction activities.
