Job summary

Flight Risk is seeking an experienced E-Bike Technician to lead our Mascot workshop. This hands-on role covers complex electrical diagnosis, advanced mechanical servicing, and fault resolution, while maintaining quality across all bikes leaving the workshop.

You will diagnose, repair, and calibrate components, service e-bike systems, and manage customer communications with clear estimates and timelines. A strong English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of e-bike electrical systems including motor, BMS, wiring, sensors and displays.
• Proven experience servicing city, commuter and cargo e-bikes at a professional level.
• Full mechanical competency across assembly, brakes, drivetrain and wheels.
• Strong fault diagnosis across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Good level of written and spoken English for customer consultations and service documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electrical faults across motors, batteries, displays, wiring, sensors and charging systems.
• Program and calibrate: update firmware, configure motor systems, calibrations and test rides.
• Service and maintain: complete e-bike assembly, tyres, hydraulic brakes, drivetrain servicing and repairs.
• Resolve escalated faults including integrated electrical/mechanical issues and cargo e-bike systems.
• Explain technical issues clearly and provide repair estimates and timelines to customers.
• Run the workshop: manage job priorities, records and SOPs in a safe, organised space.
• Collaborate with the workshop team and uphold high quality standards.
