Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5-7 years' experience working as a dry fire technician focusing on commercial installations.
• Strong knowledge of AS 1670.1 and other relevant Australian Standards.
• Proven supervisory or leading hand experience, with the ability to mentor and manage junior technicians.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across Melbourne and surrounding areas.
• Excellent communication skills, both with team members and clients.
• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual work, including climbing, lifting, and working at heights where necessary.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry changes.

Aufgaben

• Lead and supervise dry fire system installations, maintenance, and repairs across commercial properties.
• Experience in commercial installation from start to finish including testing and commissioning.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior technicians, ensuring work quality and adherence to safety protocols.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate with clients to schedule work efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records of all completed works.
• Ensure all work sites are kept safe and compliant with health and safety requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of technical processes and procedures within the team.
• Represent Commercial Fire Group professionally and maintain strong client relationships.
