Job summary

KBR's Civil Group in Sydney is seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer to contribute to major infrastructure projects across Australia. You will work on drainage, hydrology and hydraulic design for roads, rail and water programs, delivering study, design, specification and services of pipelines and utilities.

Reporting to NSW Civil Transport Manager with Team Lead support, you will guide junior engineers, review deliverables, manage budgets, and help develop client relationships while maintaining

Qualifications

• B. Engineering or equivalent with established industry consulting experience across infrastructure projects.
• Design and practical experience in an operating environment (maintenance or construction).
• Strong technical design ability specifically pipeline and water infrastructure design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of commercial arrangements and relationships.
• Strong practical knowledge of and commitment to health and safety.
• Chartered Professional Engineer accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and deliver drainage and water infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and bid teams.
• Monitor costs and ensure projects stay within budget.
• Develop client relationships and prepare proposals and reports.
• Mentor project staff and ensure QA standards.
