Job summary

KBR in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer to lead end-to-end drainage design for major transport projects across Victoria, from concept to completion, while guiding teams and coordinating with clients on reports and proposals.

You will mentor engineers, manage project delivery to meet quality, safety, budget, and schedule targets, and contribute to the SRL East Linewide Alliance’s critical outcomes for safer, more efficient transport networks.

Qualifications

• You’re an accomplished Senior Drainage Engineer with extensive experience delivering civil infrastructure.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects with consultants, contractors, and government agencies.
• Advanced drainage design skills and proficiency in modelling software.
• Strong knowledge of Austroads and State Transport Authority design guidelines.
• Chartered Professional Engineer status (or ability to achieve within six months)

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of major transport projects across Victoria, taking ownership of drainage design from concept to completion.
• Lead design teams, mentor engineers, and manage project delivery to meet quality, safety, budget, and schedule expectations.
• Build strong client relationships and produce clear, accurate, technically robust reports and proposals.
