Downer Group seeks an experienced Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Director to provide strategic leadership across community engagement, stakeholder relations, communications and Aboriginal participation for major power infrastructure projects.

This senior role leads a multidisciplinary engagement team and partners with project leadership, clients and delivery teams to ensure engagement activities support successful outcomes while building trust with communities and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in community engagement, stakeholder relations or communications
• 5+ years in a senior leadership position
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engagement teams and managing complex relationships
• IAP2 Certificate in Engagement highly desirable; postgraduate qualifications viewed favourably

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership across community engagement, stakeholder relations and communications for major power infrastructure projects
• Lead multidisciplinary engagement team and manage relationships with government agencies, councils, Traditional Custodians, Aboriginal organisations and landowners
• Advise on emerging stakeholder issues, community impacts and project reputation; develop engagement strategies across projects
