Job summary

Mission Critical Recruitment is seeking a Senior Director, Commissioning to lead major data centre commissioning programs from Melbourne. You will oversee multiple projects, build and manage an internal team, coordinate ICA activities, and work closely with general contractors and stakeholders to keep IST milestones on schedule.

Travel will be required to oversee FATs of critical equipment; a Mechanical or Electrical qualification and strong ASHRAE knowledge are essential, with data centre

Qualifications

• Mechanically or electrically qualified.
• Deep understanding of commissioning processes per ASHRAE standards.
• Data centre experience highly preferred.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Able to delegate, mentor and guide others.
• Willing and able to travel.

Overview
MCR are seeking an established commissioning leader to work for the quickest growing hyperscale data centre operator in region.

Overseeing multiple, concurrent commissioning programs across data centre builds in Australia, you'll lead and hire an internal team who will oversee the ICA as well as work closely with general contractors and various stakeholders to ensure that IST for each project is hitting required timelines.

Please note that you'll be traveling in this role as you oversee various FAT's of critical equipment.

Key Requirements

• Mechanically or electrically qualified
• Deep understanding of the commissioning process in line with ASHRAE standards
• Data Centre experience highly preferred
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• Able to delegate, mentor and guide others
• Willing and able to travel
