Job summary

ZSoft Technologies in Canberra is seeking an experienced Senior Digital Delivery Lead / Program Manager to drive an outcome-based Australian Government application modernisation program. You will lead a multidisciplinary team across Power Platform and Azure PaaS, managing discovery through production and BAU acceptance.

The role emphasizes end-to-end delivery, strong executive reporting, and a sustainable capability build for the Department.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading complex digital/application programs.
• Experience with service-provider, systems-integrator or consulting delivery.
• Demonstrated fixed-price, milestone or outcome-based delivery accountability.
• Australian Government or similarly regulated environments.
• Agile and DevOps/DevSecOps delivery.
• Production releases, hypercare and transition-to-operations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery against milestones, deliverables and acceptance criteria.
• Lead mobilisation, discovery, design, build, testing, release, hypercare and BAU transition.
• Manage integrated schedule, scope, RAID, dependencies, decisions and change control.
• Coordinate business, architecture, cyber, platform, engineering and ICT operations teams.
• Manage multiple application workloads and competing dependencies.
• Drive architecture, security, accessibility and operational acceptance activities.
• Maintain commercial discipline within an outcome/fixed-price delivery model.
• Provide clear executive reporting and proactively resolve delivery blockers.
• Lead knowledge transfer and establish sustainable Department capability.

Senior Digital Delivery Lead / Program Manager - Application Modernisation

We are seeking an experienced Digital Delivery Lead / Program Manager to lead an outcome-based Australian Government application modernisation engagement.

This is not a PMO coordination role. You will lead a multidisciplinary team establishing a reusable application delivery capability across Microsoft Power Platform and Azure PaaS, while taking priority applications from discovery through production and BAU acceptance.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery against milestones, deliverables and acceptance criteria.
• Lead mobilisation, discovery, design, build, testing, release, hypercare and BAU transition.
• Manage integrated schedule, scope, RAID, dependencies, decisions and change control.

• Strong executive stakeholder and commercial management.

Technology understanding

Good delivery-level understanding of Power Platform, Azure PaaS, Azure DevOps, DevSecOps, IaC/CaC, APIs/integration, identity/security and application lifecycle management.
