Job summary

eJAmerica seeks an experienced DevOps Lead to drive automation, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud-native infrastructure in a security-cleared environment. Lead pipelines, mentor the team, and collaborate across development, infrastructure, security, and operations to deliver reliable, scalable software.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Ansible, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes, plus proven leadership in enterprise DevOps initiatives and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps with Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes in production.
• Proven leadership of enterprise DevOps initiatives.
• Strong automation mindset and CI/CD best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop automation solutions using Ansible.
• Design, configure, and optimize Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD.
• Build CI/CD workflows using Azure Pipelines and Azure DevOps.
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and version control using Git.
• Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on Kubernetes environments.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve deployment processes, automation, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD, deployment, containerization, and infrastructure issues.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to DevOps team members.
• Follow security, compliance, and organizational standards, particularly in security-cleared environments.
