Job summary

PATH4 Group in Canberra is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a hybrid role supporting a high-impact federal ICT program. An active NV1 clearance is mandatory for this EL1-equivalent position within the Platforms and Application Development Branch.

You will design and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, implement IaC, and apply automation with PowerShell, ARM templates, Bicep, and YAML while collaborating with cyber security and test teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and complex pipelines.
• IaC experience using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Strong Git version control and branching strategies.
• Deploying and maintaining Azure resources including App Service.
• Experience with multiple cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Troubleshooting in hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
• Code reviews and collaboration in software teams.
• Active NV1 security clearance (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment.
• Oversee development, testing, and production environments for replication.
• Apply scripting and automation using PowerShell, ARM templates, Bicep, and YAML.
• Implement monitoring and alerting for performance, availability, and security.
• Integrate automated security testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, Cyber Security, testers, and analysts.
• Maintain documentation of deployment processes and best practices.
