Job summary

Hickory Group in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to own end-to-end delivery of significant industrial developments. You will lead and execute Hickory’s $1B industrial development and advanced manufacturing pipeline across Victoria and New South Wales.

You will manage site identification, due diligence, planning, design development and infrastructure delivery while engaging consultants, contractors and delivery partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Senior Development Manager role.
• Tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Property Development, Project Management or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of project delivery frameworks.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale industrial developments and manufacturing facilities.
• Collaborative and adaptable professional thriving in a fast-paced team environment.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
• Commercially minded, detail-focused and results-driven.
• Comfortable operating autonomously with disciplined reporting to senior leadership.
• Exposure to Estate Master or similar financial feasibility tools is preferred.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking to grow our Development Team with a passionate and motivated industrial focused Senior Development Manager. Reporting to the Chief Property and Development Officer, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of significant large industrial developments. This is a pivotal, hands‑on role opportunity for the successful candidate to lead and execute Hickory’s $1B industrial development and advanced manufacturing pipeline across Victoria and New South Wales.
