Job summary

National Heavy Vehicle Regulator in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Developer to join the Digital Enablement team. You will design, develop and evolve Compliance and Enforcement systems to support a modern regulator and data-led operations.

The role focuses on delivering integrations, APIs and secure platforms, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality, scalable software in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical development, support, integration and solution design services across the Compliance and Enforcement technology portfolio.
• Maintain, enhance and support existing compliance systems while contributing to the delivery, transition and ongoing support of future digital platforms and integration capabilities.
• Deliver high-quality application development, system integrations and technical solutions aligned with business requirements, architectural standards and the strategic direction of Data & Technology.
• Provide technical leadership, development expertise and operational support to ensure compliance technology services remain reliable, secure, maintainable and fit for purpose.
• Contribute to testing, quality assurance, incident management and continuous improvement activities to support the ongoing operation and evolution of Compliance & Enforcement systems.
