Job summary

NRI Australia & New Zealand is seeking two experienced Senior Full Stack Developers to join our Brisbane team for an initial 12-month contract. You will work on modern cloud-native platforms on Microsoft Azure, delivering reliable, scalable, and secure software for energy-sector applications.

Role combines development and Level 3 production support, with a hybrid working model (2-3 days onsite in Brisbane). Strong Azure, TypeScript, Node.js, and React skills are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Senior Software Engineer or Senior Application Support Engineer.
• Proven experience supporting mission-critical, revenue-impacting platforms.
• Strong background in Azure serverless architectures (Functions, App Services).
• Hands-on experience in DevSecOps and CI/CD-driven environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability in live production systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 production support, including incident, problem, and root-cause analysis.
• Perform code-level fixes and configuration changes through CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call roster for critical systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain Node.js (TypeScript) backend services on Azure.
• Maintain and enhance React-based Single Page Applications.
• Support event-driven and real-time systems using Azure Service Bus and Web PubSub.
• Work with Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, and Data Factory ETL pipelines.
• Support integrations with AEMO APIs, FTP services, and internal platforms.
• Contribute to secure, automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform stability and performance.

We are seeking 2 experienced Senior Full Stack Developers to join our Brisbane-based team, supporting and enhancing critical business applications within the energy sector. This is an initial 12 month contract.
