Job summary

HBF Health Limited is seeking a Senior Detection & Response Engineer to strengthen cyber resilience across on‑premises, cloud and SaaS environments. You will drive automation, enhance detection and response capabilities, and work with stakeholders to protect systems, data and members from evolving threats.

You will join a technically strong team, comfortable taking ownership, with hybrid work options and opportunities to influence security outcomes across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating detection and response capabilities in complex environments.
• Strong scripting and automation to improve security operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, maintain and improve cyber security technologies (SIEM, DLP, EDR, ASM, vulnerability mgmt).
• Develop and enhance monitoring, detection and response capabilities across the org.
• Design, implement and optimize automation to boost efficiency and security outcomes.
• Integrate log sources, threat intel feeds and data collection for monitoring and compliance.
• Partner with cyber responders and tech teams to manage incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical guidance and documentation to uplift security capabilities.
