Job summary

VML AUNZ is seeking a talented designer to create print and digital assets, ensuring brand consistency and producing production-ready layouts. You’ll collaborate with Creative Directors and Studio teams to translate concepts into compelling visuals.

Ideally you have strong typography, branding and presentation skills, plus experience mentoring other designers. This role supports a hybrid office model in Australia and values collaboration and high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Strong experience across graphic design, print and digital.
• Experience in shopper marketing / commerce would be a plus.
• Solid conceptual and design skills with strong multimedia knowledge.
• Excellent communication, presentation and prioritisation skills.
• Strong organisation, time management and self-management skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of current design trends and technologies.
• Previous experience mentoring or providing guidance to other designers is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple design briefs and deliver high-quality work across print and digital.
• Develop layouts, presentations, illustrations, logos and other creative assets.
• Ensure brand consistency and quality across all deliverables.
• Act as the bridge between Creative and Studio, translating concepts into production-ready assets.
• Develop a strong understanding of client brands, guidelines and business objectives.
• Proactively contribute to the creative process and bring ideas to the table.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Share best practices and provide guidance to other designers.
• Stay up to date with design trends, tools and new technologies.
