Job summary

VML in Australia is seeking a seasoned designer to work across print and digital projects, turning concepts into production-ready assets.

You’ll collaborate with Creative Directors, Art Directors and the Studio team, mentor junior designers, and uphold high design standards in shopper marketing and commerce. A hybrid work approach is available with four days in the office and flexibility on others; we value collaboration, learning, and delivering impactful brand experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience across graphic design for print and digital.
• Experience in shopper marketing / commerce is a plus.
• Strong conceptual and design skills with multimedia knowledge.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and prioritisation abilities.
• Strong organisation and time management with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple design briefs and deliver high-quality work across print and digital.
• Develop layouts, presentations, illustrations, logos and other creative assets.
• Ensure brand consistency and quality across all deliverables.
• Bridge between Creative and Studio, translating concepts into production-ready assets.
• Develop understanding of client brands, guidelines and business objectives.
• Proactively contribute to the creative process and bring ideas to the table.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Share best practices and guide other designers.
• Stay up to date with design trends, tools and technologies.
