Bluestonerecruitment seeks an experienced Senior Design Manager to lead pre-construction design, ECI design management, and standardisation across Education, Science, Data Centre, Health, Pharma and Commercial sectors. All work is on a negotiated basis.

The role requires senior leadership across live projects, stakeholder management, ESG/ESD coordination, and building standards development. You will collaborate with Directors to embed design innovation and deliver and win future opportunities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management or engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in design management in the construction industry.
• Experience on large-scale projects from $50m upwards.
• Experience in pre-construction design.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of construction project management tools and software.
• Understanding of construction contracts and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with building codes and standards.

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Design Manager to join their growing and successful business.

Ideal sector experience: Education, Science, Data Centre, Health, Pharma & Commercial.

This role is to take the lead on a recent Data Centre project award but also have involvement in ECI's across the other sectors they work in.

All work is on a negotiated basis.

Responsibilities:

• Senior Design Manager – Pre-construction and Standards: This is a senior role which provides support to the Directors and has overall responsibility for the management of pre-construction tenders, projects, Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) design management across all sectors and partnering with the Directors to embed front-end buildability design innovation and minimum design standards.
• With significant Design leadership expertise across a range of sectors, this role requires a creative problem-solving mindset and collaborative, client focused interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, identify and prioritise key outcomes in a pressured environment.
