Job summary
Quantium in Sydney is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the team building Quantium’s internal platform for developing and delivering production-grade AI agents. The platform provides shared components, templates, infrastructure and guardrails to help engineers deliver AI-powered solutions faster.
You will manage a ~10 person team, stay close to architecture and product direction, and shape how agents are designed, tested and deployed while maintaining scale, reliability, and governance
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead engineering teams building complex platforms.
- Experience guiding architecture, product direction and delivery.
- Strong collaboration with cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing engineering team across the agent build pipeline.
- Move an emerging platform into a hardened, scalable capability.
- Shape production AI agent design, validation, deployment and improvement.
- Strengthen the platform and developer experience through infrastructure and standards.
- Guide consequential technical decisions balancing delivery and long-term health.
- Grow technical leadership and clear ownership within the team.
