Job summary

Trend Personnel Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast requires a Senior Design Coordinator / Design Manager to lead design coordination for multi-residential projects, ensuring outputs meet client expectations, regulatory requirements and budgets.

You will coordinate consultants and stakeholders, prepare documentation for approvals, support the Design Manager, and maintain design records and tracking systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting design coordination/management within the construction sector, preferably multi residential.
• Working knowledge of design processes, standards and regulatory requirements in QLD.
• Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to architecture and construction.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Design Team to implement and maintain design processes, standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors and clients to support alignment of design outcomes with project objectives and budgets.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of architectural, structural and interior design documentation.
• Support Design Manager in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, codes and standards in QLD, including building regulations and planning requirements
• Prepare documentation and materials for client presentations, design reviews, and approvals and attend meetings as required.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to integrate design requirements into overall project planning and delivery.
• Maintain accurate project records, design registers and document tracking systems.

Due to continued growth and expansion, my client is seeking to employ a senior design coordinator/design manager to support the design team in delivering outcomes that meet client expectations, regulatory requirements and project objectives. You will assist with co-ordinating consultants/stakeholders and design documentation, ensuring high quality, compliant and functional design solutions are achieved in line with project timelines and budgets.

Key responsibilities include:
