Synergy (Electricity Generation and Retail Corporation) is seeking a Senior DER Software and Data Engineer for the Perth Central Park office. You will design and support DER applications, enabling monitoring, aggregation and control of DER at scale to aid grid services and market participation.

Responsibilities include mentorship of developers, collaboration with Cyber Security, and delivering resilient, scalable microservice-based solutions using JVM and TypeScript.

Qualifications

• Experience with DER systems and interoperability standards.
• Ability to design scalable data pipelines for operational and analytical workloads.
• Hands-on with distributed microservice architectures and security requirements.

Responsabilités

• Design, support and enhance DER applications and systems with technical expertise.
• Discover, design and implement new features in DER applications.
• Support requirements analysis and feature enhancements for DER software.
• Mentor mid-level and emerging developers in the DER domain.
• Coordinate with Cyber Security to apply security requirements.
