Job summary

Dental One Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Dental Nurse to lead clinical operations across multiple Melbourne locations. The role combines chairside nursing with staff leadership, reception support and operational problem-solving.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in private dentistry, strong Sirona equipment knowledge and proven staff management skills. Certificate III in Dental Assisting is required; Certificate IV preferred. Competitive salary with superannuation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' hands-on private dental practice experience.
• Proven experience leading and managing staff.
• Strong knowledge of dental equipment (Sirona).
• Stock, suppliers, purchasing and operational experience.
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting minimum; Certificate IV preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leading and training: Developing nursing and reception teams, setting standards, managing personalities and holding people accountable.
• Keeping clinics running: Solving day-to-day operational challenges, managing equipment issues, stock, ordering and supplier relationships.
• Getting hands-on: Nursing, covering reception, helping with sterilisation or whatever else is needed.
• Improving the business: Identifying inefficiencies, reducing costs, improving processes and assisting with clinic fitouts, equipment and expansion projects.
• Supporting multiple locations: Primarily based at a major clinic in Melbourne, while training and supporting teams across other Dental One practices.
