Job summary

Halcyon Knights in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major enterprise retail technology program. You will own end-to-end delivery of a next-generation POS and unified commerce platform, serving as the key link between the customer, technology teams and partners.

The role covers discovery through build, pilot and implementation, with ownership across the full delivery lifecycle and governance, RAID and change control. Strong stakeholder management is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience delivering large-scale enterprise technology programs.
• Strong end-to-end project or program delivery experience.
• Experience delivering customer-facing professional services or complex technology implementations.
• Strong governance, RAID, executive reporting and stakeholder management capability.
• Commercial experience managing budgets, SOWs and change requests.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendors and multidisciplinary technology teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent experience/certification.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery across scope, schedule, budget, quality and resourcing.
• Establish and manage project governance, SteerCos, reporting, RAID and change control.
• Coordinate structured discovery, requirements and solution design workshops.
• Manage senior customer stakeholders and executive-level communications.
• Build and maintain integrated delivery plans, milestones and dependencies.
• Coordinate internal technical teams, third-party vendors and implementation partners.
• Manage project financials, SOW deliverables and commercial change requests.
• Lead delivery through solution definition, build, configuration, UAT and pilot deployment.
• Manage risks, issues and escalation pathways.
• Coordinate transition into ongoing support following implementation.
