Job summary

Rimkus seeks a Senior Consultant to join its Delay Services team in Perth. The role supports the Commission Lead, delivering expert reports for construction and insurance clients, and advising on disputes and project strategies.

With 7+ years in engineering or construction, you will perform delay analyses using recognized methodologies, review data, and guide technical reports and client recommendations while contributing to business development and service growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 7+ years post graduate experience in construction/engineering or claims consultancy.
• Experience with scheduling or database software.

Responsibilities

• Draft expert reports and responses with minimal supervision.
• Review, compile, and analyse records using scheduling software.
• Perform delay analysis using industry methods (e.g. Time Impact/Window analysis).
• Lead Assistant role overseeing reports and client strategy recommendations.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and manage team utilisation.
• Support delay consulting, programming and planning services on projects.
• Prepare narratives explaining delay for formal disputes.
• Assist in business development and client appointments.
• Promote a positive, inclusive Rimkus culture.
