Job summary

TBH is seeking a Senior Project Planner (Defence) to join the Canberra team. You will lead planning, scheduling and project controls across defence programs, developing integrated schedules and providing clear insights to stakeholders. Relocation to Canberra is required with a relocation package offered.

The role emphasizes strong technical capabilities, client communication, mentorship, and collaboration within a high-security environment. Australian citizenship and NV1 clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in planning and scheduling roles.
• 2+ years’ defence project experience within industry.
• NV1 security clearance or higher considered essential.
• Maritime experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with major acquisition projects and Defence delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planning, scheduling and project controls across Defence programs.
• Develop, integrate and manage integrated schedules for complex projects.
• Provide schedule assurance and performance analysis.
• Mentor junior team members and foster collaboration.
• Prepare client-facing deliverables and clear schedule reporting.
