Job summary

Swissport is seeking an experienced Dayforce Payroll SME to lead the implementation and optimization of the Dayforce Payroll system. The role involves testing, configuration validation, data migration support, and user training across Payroll, HR and Technology teams.

You will play a hands-on role throughout the implementation, ensuring accurate testing, system readiness, and a successful go-live with a focus on payroll accuracy and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Demonstrated experience testing and validating payroll systems.
• Experience with end-to-end payroll testing and data migration activities.
• Ability to train and support users on the Dayforce application.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support parallel payroll testing to ensure components are tested and validated before go-live.
• Perform payroll calculation testing across a range of scenarios.
• Validate Dayforce configuration to align with payroll requirements and processes.
• Conduct end-to-end payroll testing and identify areas for improvement.
• Support data migration activities and validate migrated payroll data.
• Investigate and troubleshoot Dayforce payroll issues with stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver Dayforce training to payroll users and stakeholders.
• Support the payroll team with knowledge transfer for the new system.
• Contribute to go-live readiness activities and testing/training deliverables.
• Collaborate across Payroll, HR, Technology and project teams for a smooth transition.

Job Summary

This is an initial 6-month fixed term contract with a strong opportunity to transition into a permanent position following the successful implementation of Dayforce.

We are seeking an experienced Dayforce Payroll SMEto join our team and play a key role in the successful implementation and optimisation of our Dayforce Payroll system.

This is a hands on role suited to an experienced Dayforce payroll professional who enjoys working across system testing, payroll processes, training and implementation readiness.

You will provide specialist knowledge and practical support across payroll testing, system validation, troubleshooting and user training.

You will work closely with Payroll, HR, Technology and project stakeholders to ensure the Dayforce platform is thoroughly tested, accurately configured and ready for a successful go live.

Your activities

Coordinate and support parallel payroll testingto ensure all payroll components are accurately tested and validated prior to go-live.

Perform payroll calculation testingacross a range of payroll scenarios.

Validate Dayforce system configuration and ensure it aligns with payroll requirements and business processes.

Conduct end-to-end payroll process testingand identify areas requiring improvement or resolution.

Support data migration activities, including reviewing and validating migrated payroll data.

Investigate and troubleshoot Dayforce system and payroll issues, working with relevant stakeholders to resolve them.

Develop and deliver Dayforce trainingto payroll users and key stakeholders.

Support the payroll team with knowledge transfer and ensure users are confident operating the new system.

Contribute to go-live readiness activities, ensuring key testing, training and process requirements are completed.

Work collaboratively across Payroll, HR, Technology and project teams to support a smooth transition to Dayforce.

Remain hands-on throughout the implementation while taking ownership of testing activities and key deliverables.

Your profile

You are an experienced payroll professional with strong hands on knowledge of the Dayforce Payroll platformand the confidence to act as a subject matter expert throughout a system implementation.

To be successful, you will have:

Extensive experience using the Dayforce Payroll system.

Strong knowledge and understanding of payroll processes.

Demonstrated experience testing and validating payroll systems.

Experience supporting system configuration validation and payroll calculations.

Experience with end-to-end payroll testing and/or data migration activities.

The ability to confidently train and support users on the Dayforce application.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on payroll accuracy.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.

A hands-on approach and the ability to take ownership of testing and implementation activities.

The ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including remote teams.
