Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Data Warehouse Architect to shape the organisation's data landscape. You will design scalable, secure data platforms and govern data models across cloud, on‑prem, and SaaS environments, aligning with strategic objectives.

You will lead ETL/ELT pipelines and collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality analytics solutions that support decision‑making.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in data warehousing, data architecture, database design, or data engineering within complex enterprise environments.
• Experience designing conceptual, logical, physical, and dimensional data models including star schemas, fact and dimension tables.
• Advanced SQL capability and experience with relational data technologies and large-scale data environments.
• Experience designing and overseeing ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Informatica, dbt, SSIS, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of enterprise data warehouse, lakehouse, and analytics architectures across cloud, on-premises, and SaaS environments.
• Define and implement data models, architecture standards, integration patterns, and governance frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership across ETL/ELT development, data integration, platform modernisation, and cloud transformations.
• Partner with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable data solutions for reporting and analytics.
