Job summary

Delivery Centric seeks a Senior Enterprise Data Architect to lead enterprise data architecture and shape modern Lakehouse and cloud data platforms. The role focuses on Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Purview, data governance, lineage, metadata and enterprise data modelling, while guiding strategic architectural decisions across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Senior Data Architect / Enterprise Data Architect / Lead Data Architect.
• Strong understanding of modern enterprise data architecture and Lakehouse concepts.
• Proven ability to design technology-agnostic architectures and lead data platform modernization.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise data architecture across business and technology domains.
• Develop target-state data architectures aligned to business strategy.
• Design modern data platforms incorporating Lakehouse and cloud data architecture principles.
• Provide architectural guidance across Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Purview and related data technologies.
• Establish and maintain data architecture principles, standards and patterns.
• Define approaches for data lineage, metadata management, data classification and data governance.
• Develop and maintain enterprise data models, taxonomies and information architecture.
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, security and application teams to ensure consistency.
• Assess existing data environments and roadmap modernization efforts.
• Provide governance across delivery teams and data platforms.
• Evaluate emerging data technologies and recommend solutions.
