Job summary

Talent International in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to design and execute end-to-end data testing strategies for enterprise data solutions. You will develop SQL tests, Python scripts, validate ETL processes, and collaborate with Data Engineers and QA teams to ensure data quality and governance.

The role requires 5+ years in data testing and at least 2 years in a Senior Test Analyst capacity, with strong SQL and Python skills, and experience testing large datasets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Data Testing, QA, or related testing roles.
• At least 2 years operating in a Senior Test Analyst capacity.
• Advanced SQL skills with complex joins, aggregations, and data reconciliation.
• Strong Python scripting experience for test automation and data validation.
• Experience testing data pipelines, ETL processes and large datasets.
• Knowledge of data testing methodologies (Regression Testing, End-to-End Data Validation).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute end-to-end data testing strategies for enterprise-scale data solutions.
• Validate data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformations for accuracy and completeness.
• Build and maintain SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
• Develop Python scripts to automate data testing, validation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout delivery.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and quality standards.
