Job summary

Health Support Services is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for a fixed-term, full-time role (up to 12 months) based in Western Australia. You will lead the design, development and continuous improvement of workforce analytics solutions and entitlement calculation models spanning payroll and corporate outcomes across the WA Health System.

You will apply advanced data science techniques to manage complex datasets, ensuring accuracy, auditability and compliance with regulatory requirements, while

Qualifications

Proven ability to lead data science initiatives in a large complex health or public sector setting.
Experience delivering analytics solutions for workforce, payroll or HR data.
Strong communication skills to translate analytical results for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design and lead workforce analytics projects, entitlement calculations and data asset development.
Oversee advanced analytics applications and ensure models are auditable and compliant.
Partner with stakeholders to deliver analytical solutions and drive process improvements.
