Job summary

DHL eCommerce Australia seeks a senior data leader to guide Data Scientists, Analysts, and cross-functional data enthusiasts.

You will drive AI-led initiatives by building reusable AI and RPA modules, mentor teams, and own end-to-end delivery of data science projects with strong governance. Collaboration with IT, Sales, Finance, and Operations is essential. Strong expertise in Power BI, Python, and Microsoft Fabric will accelerate adoption across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, CS, or related field.
• 6–10 years in analytics/data science with leadership exposure.
• Experience leading data science teams.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Data Scientists, Analysts, and data enthusiasts across functions.
• Design and implement AI/ML models and RPA solutions for automation and optimisation.
• Build reusable AI and RPA modules (forecasting, anomaly detection, process automation).
• Lead end-to-end project delivery including planning, execution, and stakeholder alignment.
• Drive Microsoft Fabric adoption for scalable data and analytics solutions.
