Job summary

Veolia ANZ is seeking a Data Platform Manager to lead the engineering and platform team responsible for the enterprise data platform, data warehouse, and data lake. You will manage four technical leads and a team of nine, delivering high-performing, secure data pipelines and curated master data for analytics.

You will oversee vendor relationships and ensure alignment with the data architecture, bringing senior, strategic management capabilities to adapt to changing business needs.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or similar.
• 10+ years essential in data architecture, data analysis and data modeling.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in complex data environments and delivering customer-centric services.
• Experience in data quality, data security, data privacy and cloud data warehouse management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering and platform team.
• Collaborate with global and ANZ stakeholders to execute the Data Strategy and Roadmap.
• Own strategic/tactical outcomes and formulate clear data-driven solutions.
• Forecast value and drive FinOps, tracking capital investment savings.
• Architect, test, implement, and maintain Veolia’s cloud data warehouse and data lake.
• Plan and implement scalable data ingestion/ELT pipelines.
