Job summary

Profectus is seeking an experienced Senior Master Data Management (MDM) Developer to support an enterprise MDM platform for an Australian Government agency. The role focuses on MDM configuration, integration development, data quality and governance within Azure-based services.

The candidate will design, build and maintain scalable MDM integrations, work with data stewards, architects and engineers, and contribute to DevOps, deployment automation and documentation for ongoing operations.

Qualifications

Job description

Profectus is seeking an experienced Senior Master Data Management (MDM) Developer to support the development, implementation and ongoing operation of an enterprise MDM platform within an Australian Government agency. The platform runs on Microsoft Azure and provides consistent, governed master data to business and technology teams across the agency. The work covers MDM configuration, integration development, data quality and matching rules, stewardship workflows and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and support an enterprise MDM platform
• Design and maintain integrations between the MDM platform, enterprise applications and data platforms using APIs, Azure services and ETL/ELT tools
• Implement data quality, validation, matching, survivorship and stewardship processes
• Work with architects, engineers, business analysts and data stewards to turn business requirements into secure, supportable solutions
• Take assigned work through analysis, development, testing, deployment and operational support
• Investigate and resolve platform, integration and data issues across development, test and production environments
• Contribute to engineering standards, DevOps practices and deployment automation
• Monitor and improve platform reliability, security and performance
• Produce and maintain technical, operational and support documentation
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members
• Identify and report risks, issues and dependencies relating to MDM and data integration work

Required Experience

• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing enterprise MDM solutions, ideally using Profisee
• Strong understanding of MDM principles, including master and reference data, data governance, stewardship, data quality, matching and survivorship, and hierarchy management
• Experience designing data integration solutions using APIs, ETL/ELT processes and modern integration tools
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Functions and Logic Apps
• Experience with relational databases and SQL in enterprise environments
• Proven experience delivering complex data solutions in Agile or DevOps teams
• Experience developing, testing, deploying and supporting production enterprise applications and data platforms
• Strong understanding of data modelling, data quality and metadata management
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement sustainable fixes
• Experience implementing MDM in Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric
• Experience within government, regulated industries or large enterprises
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data platforms
• Relevant certifications in Azure architecture or engineering, data or enterprise architecture, or Profisee MDM

Security Clearance Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen
• Must hold a current AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance
• Must have the ability to obtain an AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance
