Job summary

A leading Western Australian healthcare organisation is seeking a Senior Data & Insights Analyst for a newly created role with broad exposure across the business.

You’ll work across different areas of the organisation, getting into the detail of data and turning information into meaningful insight.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work across a range of business priorities, using data to answer questions, uncover insights and support better decision making.

Working across Finance, Operations and other areas of the business, you’ll have the opportunity to understand what sits behind the numbers and help improve how data and reporting are used across the organisation.

About You

You’re an experienced data professional with strong SQL, Power BI and analytical skills who enjoys getting into the detail and understanding the story behind the numbers.

Commercially minded and comfortable working with stakeholders, you can translate business needs into practical analysis and meaningful insights.

You’re hands-on, delivery-focused and confident taking ownership of priorities and working independently to deliver outcomes.

Healthcare experience is not essential.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Work across multiple systems and data sources, using SQL to query, analyse and investigate data.
• Partner with Finance, Operations and SMEs to understand business processes and operational activity.
• Analyse business performance, profitability, costs and revenue to support decision-making.
• Develop and improve Power BI dashboards and reporting based on business needs.
• Review existing reporting and identify opportunities to improve, consolidate or rationalise dashboards.
• Investigate data quality, inconsistencies and gaps to improve the reliability of information.
• Translate business questions into practical analysis and clearly communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
