Job summary

Commonwealth Bank of Australia is seeking a Chapter Lead / Senior Engineering Manager for Group Security Data Engineering to lead a large team of data engineers. You will shape cloud data transformations using AWS, Snowflake, and modern practices to deliver secure, scalable data products across the Group.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading data engineering teams in large enterprises.
• Delivery of large-scale data platforms or analytics solutions.
• Strong data architecture, modelling, integration and platform design capabilities.
• Experience with AWS data services and Snowflake preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a sizeable team of data engineers and delivery partners.
• Define and execute the engineering strategy for group security data platforms.
• Oversee migration of data capabilities to a modern cloud data environment.
• Provide technical leadership across data architecture, modelling, integration and standards.
• Drive automation, testing, observability, CI/CD and operational discipline.
