Job summary

Icon Water is seeking a Data Engineer to shape how data is transformed into insights that drive better business decisions. You will work within the Enterprise Architecture team to develop data solutions for reporting, analytics and decision‑making.

The role requires strong Power BI, ETL and modelling skills, plus experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS and SQL. Hybrid work arrangements and a focus on data governance will support delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and maintaining data solutions for BI reporting.
• Strong skills in Power BI dataflows, semantic models and reporting.
• Experience with ETL: SQL, Power Query, Azure Data Factory, SSIS.
• Knowledge of dimensional modelling and star schema.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, CS, IT, or related discipline; Power BI certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across operational and technical teams.
