Job summary

Mater Group is seeking a Data Specialist / Data Scientist in Brisbane to transform maintenance and asset management with data, automation and AI. You’ll work with engineering and operations to automate workflows, build dashboards, and deliver scalable data solutions across asset management functions.

You’ll leverage Snowflake, SQL and Python, explore GenAI and AI agents, and develop interfaces to connect CrewConnect with upstream/downstream systems, driving data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering automation and analytics solutions.
• Ability to translate business problems into data-driven outcomes.
• Experience engaging with engineering and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data integration pipelines between systems.
• Analyse data flows, mappings and dependencies and support interface enhancements.
• Build reliable ingestion, transformation and validation processes.
• Troubleshoot data/interface issues with product teams.
• Translate scheduling data requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Work across Snowflake, AWS, DBT, Git-based DevOps and reporting tools.
