Job summary

Vivanti invites a Senior Data Engineer to lead and mentor, architecting scalable data pipelines and robust data platforms across client environments in Sydney. You’ll own end-to-end data flows, governance, and security, collaborating with analytics, ML and platform teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and build complex data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load massive datasets cleanly and reliably.
• Set up, optimise, and govern enterprise data lakes and modern data warehouses for scalable access across client environments.
• Ensure data platforms and systems are secure, highly available, resilient, and cost-effective.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, ML engineers, and platform teams to drive strategy and deliver end-to-end data solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineers across the team.
