Job summary

CommBank seeks a Senior Manager to lead data-controls uplift and governance across critical Economic Crime platforms in Sydney. You will partner with delivery crews to translate mandatory data-control requirements into practical, measurable expectations.

You will provide trusted technical leadership from design to production, review Data Impact Assessments, challenge gaps and ensure control requirements are reflected in change governance and CMRS.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in data governance, data controls, risk, and change governance within regulated environments.
• Experience shaping control strategies and data-risk outcomes across large-scale technology programmes.
• Ability to interpret policy, standards and risk frameworks and translate them into practical operating expectations.

Responsibilities

• Translate mandatory data-control requirements into practical uplift activity for delivery teams.
• Review Data Impact Assessments, challenge gaps and ensure control requirements are reflected in change governance and CMRS processes.
• Maintain a consolidated view of progress across crews and squads and escalate material gaps and risks.
• Provide governance, assurance and technical advisory leadership from design to production.
