Job summary

Commonwealth Bank of Australia is seeking a Manager Controls Assurance to lead control testing and assurance within the COO risk program. You will execute testing to ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance, and partner with stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Controls testing experience, including identification, planning, testing and reporting of business controls across various business processes.
• Ability to think critically and analytically, and use data-driven insights to solve problems.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation.
• Knowledge of Operational and Compliance Risk frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee control testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Partner with key stakeholders to deliver insights, utilising data and analytical skills.
• Document test plans and test results clearly, including improvement opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement of the control environment through strategic risk initiatives, automation and control rationalisation.
